A Braatz is a Canadian actor, filmmaker and musician who has always been invested in multiple disciplines.

He began his professional career at York Theatre Royal in the UK before returning to Canada, performing on stages across the country and the US in everything from plays and musicals to live music. His screen work includes That Is All, The Pines Still Whisper and The Fortunate Ones.

Behind the camera, A Braatz has directed a growing body of independent film, including Say My Name, which has screened at festivals internationally, and Starry Eyed.

His work also extends into original music, including a major creative role on Waterman’s Ballad.

He trained at Sheridan College and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and continues to work across acting, directing, writing and music, all following whichever discipline best serves the idea.
